You know those RC jet planes? Why doesn't someone just make one of those, but big enough to fit a person in it? ?

Why do pilots shout "Propeller! Or Śmigło if they are Polish pilots in Poland :-)?
Why do pilots shout "Propeller!" before starting an aeroplane engine, has anyone ever been irresponsible enough or a retard to approach the blades of a propeller, has it ever happened that someone was massacred by a propeller?

Drone vs RC Aircraft?
At what point does an rc aircraft become a done? Some rc aircraft have a camera in the cockpit that gives the pilot a pilot’s point of view but in doing so the pilot doesn’t have visual line of sight with the aircraft. Some rc aircraft also have a range to fly out of sight of the pilot so at what point does an rc aircraft become a drone or does it not at all? Thanks in advance.

Why do pilots keep stalling the engine to save on gas when the tickets are so expensive?
Every time me and my wife go on a plane it keeps dipping down because the pilot keeps stalling the engine to save on gas but the plane tickets are so expensive and the food so bad, one would think most money would go to gas

is it true that even in video games, flying is safer than driving...?
I play both GTA 5 and Flight Simulator and I've come to realize that it's so easy to get crashed while driving a car in GTA 5 no matter how careful I am. On the other hand, I very rarely crash my Boeing 777 and 757 in Flight Sim and when I do, It'd always be due to some software glitch of my computer...

The UK is working on a 6th generation fighter in development, with realistic funding, expectations and time frame?
The USA isn't close to that.
The last time the UK had anything of the sort going on..
The Concorde civilian supersonic passenger jet, and the Jaguar was made between the UK and France.
No 6th generation aircraft is the works or even on the drawing board anywhere else...
Let alone less realistic, and much less with an established industrial partnership, with a design plan already settled on.
:)
Brag about that.

How do fighter jets prevent shrapnel from getting sucked into the air intake?
Such as when a jet tails another, lets rip and pieces break off, the jet tries to avoid the pieces but some will inevitably end up in the engine. And turbine engines are pretty delicate from my understanding, so how do they deal with that?

If you were designing a cargo aircraft with a single propeller on the nose of the plane, is it wise to put the cargo opening on the nose?
Favorite Answer:No, that would not be a smart approach.
Swiveling a nose that supports the engine means that the physical link between the engine and the rest of the aircraft would rely on a hinge which is not that strong, unless it is beefed-up, leading to an overly heavy design.

Why does no one bother to modernize the Boeing 747s?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but many of the 737s today are in their exact configuration from when they rolled off the production line. All of these 737's also use floppy disks to update the information stored in its small capacity computers.
Also, were the A320s used in the military once civilian aircraft?

What is your opinion of cargo pilots? ?
Favorite Answer:Why do the opinions of total strangers matter?
I have a friend whose first job as commercial pilot was for a cargo airline.
He had a much busier schedule than many passenger airline pilots as many flights were very short hops indeed and into a very wide variety of airports, many of which “meat shifters” never get to see.
Unlike his “meat shifter” colleagues, he’d also frequently have to physically assist with loading and unloading cargo.
He gained loads of flight hours on a wide variety of aeroplane types in a very short time so got promoted to Captain far more quickly than if he’d been a First Officer with a passenger airline.
He’s since moved on to a passenger airline for the higher pay but now is back flying cargo. COVID-19 has meant that most passenger airline flight crews are now virtually jobless due to so few flights, and many airlines are laying off staff. But cargo flights have continued and demand has even increased.
Rick has observed that cargo pilots moving to passenger flights find it really easy, but that pilots who have always flown passengers find that switching to the demands of cargo flying which is also often well away from any form of controlled airspace is just too stressful for them.
So if you insist upon a non-factual opinion: they work very hard and earn every penny.

can i travel by private plane?
Favorite Answer:It's done in small towns across America every day.
It's how Kobe was killed. He could have just as easily driven the 75 miles from Newport Coast to Calabasas. It probably would have been less time early on a Sunday morning.
