Consider choosing either Maths or Economics and spending time living and working in Germany. Either a year abroad at university or summers will do wonders for your fluency. Then you can apply for jobs with German as a second language on your CV.

So I ve been researching about "community colleges" that are cheaper and I can get a degree then transfer to MSU. . There s a CC close to Michigan State, so I can study and still watch Spartan athletics. The school is Lansing Community College, in Lansing. Is it a good college? And what s Lansing like? Is it a nice city? Thanks!

Best answer: Middle Easterners are NOT "Asians." And right now, Germany has been invaded by Mideast Arabs, Syrians, and those pretending to be "Syrian refugees." They behave very badly - outright criminals - and people strenuously object to bad behavior. If you act like the million-plus "Syrian refugees" who have invaded Germany over the past year or two, expect hostile reactions to your bad behavior.

So it comes down to what kind of person are you? Personality, character, etc. How do you treat other people, including both men & women? Are you respectful of others? Kind, honest, & other traits which make others like you? Or do you act like the "bad guys" already there?

I'm Colombian, but have lived in the US for 11 years, the problem is that she wants me to go to a American university in North Carolina, but I don't want to because I just hate this state in general, and would be happier somewhere abroad like in Europe or South America. The other problem is that it would upset here since that was one of the primary reasons we left the country years ago, was for better education. I'm planning on majoring in Computer Science and foreign languages. I know American Universities are said to be the best, but other countries also have the best, such as the UK and China, and a cheaper price for better education since they cost less. This goes with the reason I don't want to study in the USA is because of the cost, the education is more expensive, and more students are growing in debt, I don't want that, so thats why European education is cheaper, but the same quality education. Also, I think foreign universities are on the rise, while is seems the status of non-ivy league American education is going sort of downhill, so what can I do?

  • In Germany college is free for foreigners too and classes are in english. Why do Americans still choose to pay fortunes in US colleges?

US college is a big and complete scam. 40,000 or 50,000 for something that should be free. In Germany college is free. Since 2014 it is free for foreigners also. Classes are in English too. I just fail to understand why do Americans still preffer the 50,000 or more to attend a US college ripoff

  • How to avoid high international student fees at universities in the U.K.?

Best answer: 1. The current travel ban is temporary while visa application vetting procedures are being reviewed.
    2. There are exceptions for those with commitments in the US. So if you were accepted by a US university & met all requirements for a student visa (including proof of sufficient funds for all school + living expenses + return transportation home), you would have a chance at a student visa.
    3. Student visas are temporary, issued on the condition that foreign students return to their own country immediately upon completion or termination of full-time studies. Expect to prove you are returning home promptly.

Not impossible, but expect rigorous vetting of your application. And have a really good reason for studying in US instead of your own country or elsewhere.
