I am a Junior in High School, living in America, and my family can't afford to put me through college. I want to get a Teaching Degree. I've decided I want to go to college outside of America, hopefully somewhere in Europe, as it'll be a lot cheaper than America. I've been trying to do research and find stuff out but it's really hard and I don't know where to start. I've looked into the UK a bit, and I don't know if they have loan programs for international students. I do want to move to England to go through University, I just don't know where to start looking or how to start saving or anything. I need advice from someone who lives in the UK or understands UK laws and regulations about international students. I also need to know if it's difficult or easy for an international student to get part-time employment while in the UK so they can sustain themselves. It's stressful, since I'm graduating in 2019. I'm fine with living in America for another year or two to save up money to live in Europe, I just need advice. International University advice, Job Advice, Monetary Advice, and help to understand European laws and regulations for international students.

I wouldn't go or apply without asking my parents but I'm afraid they might take a while to come to terms with my decision; time that universities like the ones that I'm interested in do not have.

I am in the process of applying for college and waiting for decisions, and I feel pretty stuck. I want to go to Butler University, but it would be (estimated) $37,000 per year. My family can afford to pay $80,000, and then I am on my own. My major will be international business, so it is required to study abroad (at most universities as well, not just Butler). The reason that Butler appeals to me so much is its high number of study abroad opportunities. I want to either study in South Korea, England, Denmark, France, or the Netherlands, and Butler has a ton of different college choices for those countries. I m pretty stuck on what to do, please help!!

Hey guys, I’m an American Citizen but my nationality is Sudanese (from Sudan). I’m 18 years old and decided I want to pursue a medical degree in Sudan because of the shortness of the program compared to the one here in America. Just one problem: I rarely go to Sudan and when I do, it’s a complete culture shock for me. It is very, very different than what I’m exposed to daily and yes, I can handle that, although, I have family members there that keep telling me to think about it harder because Sudan natives absolutely despise American/Sudanese people and of course I physically look American by the way I dress and such and they wouldn’t hesitate to mug me in the street or even kill me and that I wouldn’t make friends. I even experiences discrimination first hand when I visited my family there. I don’t know, I really want to study abroad there since it’s also very affordable but I don’t want to be hated and be on the lookout for potential criminals every single day going and coming from Univeristy. Any suggestions? Thank you!

It has been my dream for years to go to Korea, but I understand there would probably be more opportunities for me in America. I love Korean culture and I am interested in how the country works. On the other hand, in America I could do psychiatry there (which I have already started studying for) and I know I would get more money, but I personally do not like the country itself as much. Which do you think would be better for me to go to?

I know it s no easy task to just go and study in another country, but I d like to know what I have to do- even if it might be difficult. I have taken french for a few years and have become decently fluent in it, so the language wouldn t be that much of a challenge- I know 4 other languages and I m sure my french would quickly improve. I m 17, and would still be 17 by September (when the courses would start).

They tell me, “yikes, you want to be an art teacher?” I tell them many times I don’t want to be an art teacher, I am an author and I want to study art and master it so I can draw beautiful drawings full of emotions for my books but they tell me that writing and drawing is just a hobby. No, I want to do that for the rest of my life, I don’t want to be a lawyer like them, I don’t want to study engineering or anything else, I want to be what I want to because this is my dream, my mother always gets upset whenever I tell her that and tells me that it won’t help me. She makes me feel like if I was just an author it will make me a failure in my life. I don’t know what should I do now?
