heat sheild?

wat does the heat sheild look like on a 1994 acura integra rs

    Your car should have several heat shields. there are a couple underneath car (on most cars anyway) that go between the mufflers and the bottom of car (some cars use them between the exhaust pipe and body too) Also depending on routing of the exhaust pipes,- there may be one to protect the gas tank too!

    They are metal plates, or " doubled" (insulating) pieces of metal that keep the heat from going up into the bottom of car, or heating up the gas tank!

    There is probably one around the exhaust manifold on your engine to to keep excessive heat from damaging under-hood components!
