Your Outlook Express files are not deleted when you are not on the internet.
To save files from OE in a different place on your pc...first create a folder on your desktop
(which you can drag to another location later).
Open the OE as usual, and if needed select "work offline", ... go directly to the Bulk mail folder > Highlight the emails you want to save to a file. Hold down your cursor and drag them as a group, or one at a time to your folder you made.
Note: You can select them randomly by holding down your CTRL keyboard key > click the ones you want > use cursor to drag the one's selected to the folder.
