I am using the new element 7.5 version of AVG- Anti-virus, and AVG Anti- Spyware, and the free download of SpyBot, and the free download from Yahoo for spyware, and that seems to keep a pretty strong firewall. So far, so good. I heard that Norton, is very good , but I think also, more aggressive. There is a free download for the AVG anti-virus, just remember, that it does expire, and you have to start again.

I prefer Avast!, it's 100% free and it works amazingly. It doesn't bog down the system at all, and it worked miracles for my diseased computer.

I think that you can select a standard antivirus software. I have come across a website that gives a brief study on computer viruses and their removal. It is very useful.I recommend that you go through this study and then decide. Please visit
