    T-Rex and Bowie (particularly early Bowie) are great.

    Have you heard Stephen Malkmus? If not he is really great.

    Also, if you haven't heard them try out some Built to Spill (probably something from Keep It Like A Secret or Perfect From Now On, Carry The Zero is a really great tune).

    if you beatles (try rubber soul and abbey road albums) and stones, get some music from a band called The Who. Specifically, Baba O' Riley, Magic Bus, Who Are You, and You are Forgiven. glad 2 help

    Try hit songs by AC/DC (Born to be wild, Back in Black, Money Talks, You shook me all night long), Kiss (I was made...), Slayer, maybe some rolling stones (painted black, etc.).
