why was combovent inhalers taken off market?
- kflan2000Lv 41 decade agoFavorite Answer
It is still on the market.
What they are doing to all inhalers is making them "Chlorofluorocarbon" free. Chlorofluorocarbons are the propellant that is used to "propel" the medication out of the canister into its aerosolized form.
This is better for the environment and for you.
What this means to you is that your new inhaler may have a new name or may have the letters HFA after the name.
