What are your all time top ten books?

I've gone a top ten as I keep seeing questions asking for number 1 book, but I can never narrow it down that far... plus there aren't ten Harry Potter / Dan Brown books so might get a bit more variety in the answers!

Update:

Really Kevin? I was a little disappointed with 2004's edition myself.

Update 2:

I'm getting the impression quite a few people should pop into the Science and Mathematics section and ask; "What is 10?"

    1. The Bible

    2. The Stand--Stephen King

3-4-5. Lord of the Rings Trilogy--JRR Tolkien

    6-7-8. Foundation trilogy (Foundation/Foundation and Empire/Second Foundation)--Isaac Asimov.

    9. God Came Near--Max Lucado

    10. No Wonder They Call Him the Savior--Max Lucado

That was tough. there are other books that I love, and I almost made the two trilogies one each, in order to get more choices in....but that would have been "cheating" lol.

there are sooooo many great books out there, and so little time to even list them all, let alone read them...

Dickens, Doyle, Lewis, L'Engle, Grisham, Evans, etc. etc....how do you ever stop?
