If the surface area of a cube is 384 cm squared what is the length of each side?
i need help on finding the formula (how to work it out) and of course the answer! :)

Explanation: a cube has 6 faces, so divide 384 by 6 to find the area of one of the sides. you will get 64. get the square root of 64 to get one of the sides. which is 8

I think surface area is length times width times 6.
IF I'm right about that, it would be:
x^2 x 6= 384cm
divide 6 from both sides and get :
then get the square root...
so x= 8
