can you still dispute this ahadith?

Hadith-e-Safina, which has been narrated by all of your great ulema, almost without exception, and with unbroken continuity.

More than a hundred of your own scholars have related this hadith: Muslim bin Hajjaj in Sahih, Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal in Musnad, Hafiz Abu Nu'aim in Hilyatu'l-Auliya; Ibn Abdi'l-Birr in Isti'ab; Abu Bakr Khatib Baghdadi in Ta'rikh-e-Baghdad; Muhammad bin Talha Shafi'i in Matalibu's-Su'uli; Ibn Athir in Nihaya; Sibt Ibn Jauzi in Tadhkira; Ibn Sabbagh-e-Makki in Fusulu'l-Muhimma; Allama Nuru'd-Din Samhudi in Ta'rikhu'l-Medina; Seyyed Mu'min Shablanji in Nuru'l-Absar; Imam Fakhru'd-Din Razi in Tafsir-e-Mafatihu'l-Ghaib; Jalalu'd-din Suyuti in Durru'l-Mansur; Imam Tha'labi in Tafsir-e-Kashfu'l-Bayan; Tabrani in Ausat; Hakim in Mustadrak, Volume 3, page 151; Sulayman Balkhi Hanafi in Yanabiu'l-Mawadda, Chapter 4; Mir Seyyed Ali Hamadani in Mawaddatu'l-Qurba, Mawadda 2; Ibn Hajar Makki in Sawa'iqu'l-Muhriqa under verse 8; Tabari in his Tafsir as well as his History; Muhammad bin Yusuf Ganji Shafi'i in Kifayatu't-Talib, Chapter 100, page 233. Many other great scholars of your sect have related that the Holy Prophet said: "The likeness of my Ahle Bait is that of the Ark of Noah. He who gets into it is saved; he who turns away from it will be drowned and lost."

Imam Muhammad Bin Idris Shafi'i has referred to the authenticity of this hadith in his couplets which Allama Fazil Ajib recorded in his Zakhiratu'l-Ma'al. Imam Shafi'i, who is recognized as one of the distinguished religious scholars of the Sunni sect, admits that our attachment to the purified family of the Prophet is the means of our deliverance because, of the seventy sects of Islam, the sect which follows the descendants of the Prophet is the only one to secure deliverance

the above has been quoted from all authentic sunni sources ,if you dispute them please state on what grounds do you dispute from your own books, and if you dispute these books what do you follow in regard to ahadith

    Dear All

    Assalaamu alaikum Warahmatullah

Alhamdulillah I am from Ahle Sunnah and we Ahle Sunnah wal Jama'a believe this Hadeeth and even while making supplication Dua' we supplicate that Allahu Ta'ala might accept our Dua for the sake of Aal e Rasool sallallahu alaihi wasallamand Aal e Ali karramallahu wajhahoo.

How can any one deny it, while there is a verse in holy Quran about "Muwaddata fil Qurba" Love of near of Kin of Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam.

42:23. That is (the Bounty) whereof Allah gives Glad Tidings to His Servants who believe and do righteous deeds. Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this except the love of those near of kin." And if any one earns any good, We shall give him an increase of good in respect thereof: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (service).

Again when Hazrat Ali karramallahu wajhahoo, Fatima Zahra raziallahu anha and Hazrat Imam Hassan and Imam Hussain are called as My Aal by Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam by a Hadeeth.

Again Hazrat Fatima and Hazrat Ali rizwanallahum alaihim ajmaeen were the most loveable by Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam as per Ahaadeeth.

Again Hazrat Fatima raziallahu anha is the leader of women in Jannah and Hazrat Imam Hussain raziallahu anh the leader of Jannah too.

Now the meaning of Hadeet e Safina to follow Aal e Rasool Ahle Bait. Did they follow different Quran and different Islam? No. But keeping enmity of Ahl e Bait, Aal e Rasool and Aale Ali is like keeping enmity of Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam Maazallah and how can such Muslims expect Shafa'a from our Holy Prophet Rasoolullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam on the day of Qiyama?

Assalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. : Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was born in Mecca, Arabia, on 12 Rabi Awwal 54 years before Hijra. The death of Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was on 12 Rabi Awwal, 11 A.H (632 A.C). : The most authoritative books of Hadith, are known as "The Accurate Six" books: 1) The Sahih of Bukhari (194-256 A.H). 2) The Sahih of Muslim (202-261 A.H). 3) Abu Daud (202-275 A.H). 4) Tirmidhi (died 279 A.H). 5) Nasai (215-303 A.H). 6) Ibn Majah (209-273 A.H). : After the Prophet's (sallallah alaihi wasallam) death, when Islam was spread far and wide, many Muslim's and new Muslim's were eager to hear all about the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and to follow his example. Great amount of material concerning the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) became current. They were collected on the initiative of the compilers. Each one of them had to be critically examined and accepted, before being recognized as an authoritative work. Thousands of muhaddithin (traditionists) spent their lives to gather every detail of the lives of the transmitters of traditions about the Prophet (sallallah alaihi wasallam). Due to their painstaking researches, the science of isma-ar-rijal (Critical Biography) developed. Also the main criterion of credibility is that a tradition must not be against the Qur'ãn or Sunnah. Wassalaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

The Holy Qur'an says in 49:13: "O Mankind! Most certainly, it is We(Allah Almighty) who have Created you all from a single (pair)of a male and a female, and it is We who have made you into Nations and tribes, that ye may recognise each other (not that ye may despise each other). Verily, the noblest of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you."

Also the Holy Qur'an in 2:213 says: "And mankind is naught but a single nation."

And again the Holy Qur'an in 30:22 says: "And among His Signs os the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the variations in your languages and your colours; verily in that are signs for those who know."

so in my opinon.. it makes diddly squat difference from what tribe or what your lineage is or where you are from... You could be the prophets great great great great great grandson and still be a horses ****... but you could be the lowliest person on earth from Timbukto and be the mightiest person in the eyes of Allah if your faith is correct and intact...

If we accept every hadiths as authoritative like the bukhari which reveals our prophet to be a pedophilic murdering rapist, our religion of Islam will collapse.

Do you want islam to collapse or do you want to get rid of these reliable hadiths???

If you show the Salafi/wahabi a signed paper by the PROPHET (s) they will refuse, they are wrapped in the shackles of BANI UMMAYA!!!

In another Sunni commentary of Quran, it is narrated on the authority of Abdullah Ibn Umar that:

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: "Had there been any soul on the whole earth better than Ali, Fatimah, al-Hasan and al-Husain, Allah would have commanded me to take them along with me to Mubahala. But as they were superior in dignity and respect to all human be beings, Allah confined His choice on them only for participation in Mubahala."

Sunni reference: Tafsir al-Baidhawi, under the commentary of Verse 3:61

Concluding, the event of Mubahala between the Prophet (s) the Christians was significant in many aspects, among them are:

    1. It proved to be a lesson for all the Christians of Arabia who no longer dared any confrontation with the Holy Prophet (s).

    2. The invitation of "Mubahala" (literally meaning cursing each other) was directed by Allah and it was in compliance with His Command that the Holy Prophet and his Ahlul-Bayt along with him to the field of Mubahala. This serves to show how affairs pertaining to prophethood and Islam are determined by the Will of Allah; allowing no margin of interference from the common people (Ummah). (The matter of Imam Ali's (AS) succession after the Prophet should be viewed similarly)

    3. The indispensability of Imam Ali, Lady Fatimah, Imam al-Hasan and Imam al-Husain in the following of the precepts of the Holy Prophet could no longer be disputed.

    4. Notwithstanding their childhood, al-Hasan and al-Husain did nevertheless serve as two active partners of the Holy Prophet on the field of Mubahala. This yields the conclusion that age is no criteria for the greatness of those infallible souls.

    5. That the Holy Prophet's act of having preferred a few obviously elevates their status above all others.

    6. Traditions from the Prophet with regards to this event clearly indicates who the Ahlul-Bayt are.

    7. Imam Ali (AS) has been mentioned as the 'Self' of the Prophet (s) according to the revelation of Allah, and is, in fact, superior to all others with regard to the matter of succession.

Is is not about Blood Relationship.

    It is narrated that:

The Messenger of Allah said: "Any relation will end on the day of Judgment except my relation. And the root (identification) of every one is his father, except the progeny of Fatimah, since I am their father and their root (identification)."

    Sunni references:

Ibn al-Jawzi, al-Bayhaqi, and al-Darqunti, al-Dhahabi on the authorities of Umar Ibn al-Khattab, Ibn Abbas, Ibn Zubair, and Ibn Umar.

    al-Sawa'iq al-Muhriqah, by Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Ch. 11, section 1, p239

Similar tradition has been narrated by Abu Ya'la, al-Tabarani on the authority of Fatimah (AS) and Ibn Umar.

The above precious tradition proves that, blood relationship is of little value in Islam and it will soon melt away when the day of Judgment appears. But what makes the relationship of the Prophet and his Ahlul-Bayt different than others is the qualifications and spiritual purity that they have besides their pure gene (which is also necessary).

For that reason, Allah revealed the Chapter of "al-Kawthar":

"Lo! We have given you Abundance (i.e., a long-standing pure progeny). So pray unto your Lord, and sacrifice. Lo! It is your insulter (and not you) who is without progeny." (Quran, Chapter 108).

In the above Chapter, Allah refers to Fatimah al-Zahra as Abundance who brings for the Prophet a sanctified progeny. Again, by progeny we do not mean all those whose ancestor are the Prophet (s). We rather mean those among his descendants who have been thoroughly purified by Allah, and the history and the Hadith can not count more that 14 of them (including the Prophet). Here is the commentary of the above Chapter by Yusuf Ali (the translator of Quran):

Abu Jahl and his Pagan confederates vented their personal spite and venom against the holy Prophet by taunting him with the loss of his two infant sons by Khadija, but where were these venomous detractors a few years afterwards, when the divine Light shone more brilliantly than ever?

Fatimah received severe injuries and was martyred at the age of eighteen, just six months after the demise of the Prophet, leaving two sons: al-Hasan, and al-Husain. After martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS), Imam al-Hasan came to power. But Muawiyah, the disloyal governor of Syria, continued his aggression by preparing another attack (after the war of Siffin), and meanwhile he bought the key elements of the army of Imam al-Hasan by money and bribe, and by corrupting his army, was finally able to complete a peaceful military coup, and to take over the power. Imam al-Hasan was poisoned to death shortly after.

The second (and the last) grandson of the Prophet was Imam al-Husain (AS), who was slaughtered along with his family (except one of his sons), relatives, and companions, in the desert of Karbala, by the army of Yazid, the corrupt and drunk son of Muawiyah. That catastrophe took place only 50 years after the demise of the Prophet!!!

The above was a very short horrible story of what happened to Ahlul-Bayt, whom Quran and the Prophet (s) ordered us to love them and obey them beside the book of Allah.
