    biped a creature with two feet

    pedestrian a person who walks across the street on foot

    peddler a person who goes door to door on foot trying to sell products

    pedal a lever that is moved with one's foot

    mort means death

    i am not sure about mortgage

    mortal means subject to death

    immortal exempt from death

    morgue a place where the bodies of dead persons are kept temporarily pending identification or release for burial or autopsy

    root word plus some other letters forms a new word. if you say they are formed from one root word then look for the set of letters thats is present in each word...
