can any one tell me the way to calculate pressure in atm in a particular limb of manometer.. know its like Patm + h
yeah but shud "h" be in cm or mm and shud "P" be in atm or Pa

The equation for pressure in a manometer limb is related to the height of the liquid in it. The equation for the hydrostatic pressure (resulting form height of liquid) is:
Pressure = height x density x gravity
The units of the things in the equation are as follows:
Height = metres
Density = kg per m cubed (this is 1000 if the liquid is water)
Gravity = Newtons (10, on earth)
All equations use the same units for heights, forces, pressures, etc...these are called S.I. units (standard international), and you'll have to use them in any equation you use if you're trying to get a correct answer :)
In the manometer, total pressure at a given point in a limb is the sum of the pressure of the liquid above it (given by above equation), plus the atmospheric pressure, which is approximately 101000 Pascals on at Earth's surface.
Pressure is always measured in Pascals (Pa), so your answer when you use the above equation will be in Pa.
