In Israel, capital punishment is illegal in almost all circumstances. The death penalty was abolished in 1954 with the exceptions of conviction for genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity, crimes against the Jewish people, and treason in wartime. Only one person has been civilly executed in the history of the State of Israel - Adolf Eichmann in 1962, after he was convicted in 1961 of participation in Nazi war crimes relating to the Holocaust. Others have been sentenced to death but won appeals to overturn the sentence. Adolph Eichmann was hanged a few minutes after midnight on May 31, 1962.

The only time the State of Israel has ever used the death penalty was in the trial of Adolf Eichmann.

No death penalty in Israel. No prisoners either only murderers. You are confusing it with Hamas. They shoot children and say after " that was a death penalty".

If they do, it will be the same kind of death penalty as the others, ie till they are dead.
