Do low carb diets decrease need for sleep?

I've been following a low carb diet for a few weeks.

I have definitely lost weight; but I notice that i'm sleeping less.

After 5 hours I wake up fully refreshed.

Is this a normal rxn to low carb eating?

    most definetly. carbs are tranquilizers. that is why depressed people eat more.
