Should McCain have listened to Limbaugh on Palin?

"Rush Limbaugh started the push for Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, right down to designing a logo for a McCain-Palin ticket."

No. He did not bring forth a strong candidate that hardly anybody has heard of except for her abuse of power as governor when she, or someone on her staff as she said, put a call into the state patrol of Alaska to have her sister's ex kicked of the patrol during their divorce proceedings.

She isn't going to win over Hillary voters to a large degree as there is such a difference in beliefs.

With McCain's age, he should have picked someone that would be ready to step in the shoes of the presidency. Someone who was a governor of one of the smallest populated states isn't exactly groomed to be president if something should happen to Mr. McCain. He could have done better and owed it to his party and nation to do so.

    [She's charming.

Don't count out the importance of this. For many Democrats, the sheer fact that they like Obama more than Clinton has been enough to counteract any concerns over experience. McCain isn't known for his personal appeal, so she could be an asset on this point.]

    [She's charming

The last thing McCain needs or wants is someone who accents his weaknesses. His temper and sometimes gruff manner are a burr for him, and she might just make people notice it more.]

I think Rush has a crush.

McCain's consultant needs to get with reality. The GOP needs to shed short armed McCain. he's a backstabber and a person and swings from each and every facet. He bounces from one facet of the aisle to the different. look what he did to Palin.

McCain wasn't following Limbaugh, he just wanted some one to have an affair with while married to Cindy.

I would have prefered that he pick Romney, but McCain is a gambler and he could turn out to be crazy like a fox. This election just got even more interesting. The plot thickens....

That just proves that this was the worst decision possible for McCain. Anytime you need a barometer on a decision just ask yourself, "what would Rush do?" Just make sure you do the opposite and you'll generally be in good shape.

No one should ever listen to Limbaugh on any issue. At least not for anything more than entertainment.

If Limbaugh likes her, she must be pretty bad.
