My keyboard doesn't work!?

Well i have a Wireless keyboard and mouse, (Logitech)

Its sort of like this one, but mine is an older version.

Soo ok, my keyboard was like oily, so i decided to use 1 drop of purell Hand sanitizer , and i put like 1 -2 drops on my hand, rubbed my hands to gether, then gently rubbed on keyboard. And i Started playing again. like 15 mintues later the keyboard just suddenly stopped working. is it broken or are the batterys dead?? Please let me know!
