It has been authorized to detain him for questioning in Chile and Argentina, the government of Brazil cancelled a speaking invitation because it could not grant him judicial immunity, and the government of East Timor is interested in questioning him as well. He was summoned to court in Paris, France, but left the country before the court date.
An attempt to have him detained for indictment in the UK failed.
