What kind of boolean types are there?

For searching on the internet, what are some of the booleans a person can use? I always have trouble searching for things and there must be a better way! I don't really know how to use booleans or the types that are available...can anyone help me with this?

Update:

I guess what I need is how to use them to search on the internet? i.e. OR AND etc. and how to use them...

    There aren't really any types...

A boolean IS a type. At it's heart, it represents a variable that can be only one of two values: True or false. Some systems allow a boolean to hold the value "unknown", but for all intents and purposes, it is a true or false variable.

A boolean type is simply anything which is 2 choice answer. So yes/no, true/false, 0/1 are all booleean.
