When talking to them:
Princess (for a girl, obviously)
When talking about them:
The apples of my eye
My teddy bears
The little ones

My seed, son.
My children. Simple and eloquent. You'll come off as mushy if you say my babies.
"Kids" very casual. Kind of cool.
