You know when Shawn Michaels stomps his feet before doing his Sweet Chin Music?

Why does he do that? He's just warning his opponent he's gonna do his finisher. I know wrestling's scripted and stuff, but let's just pretend it's not for this question.

    It's to et the crowd going and to get pumped up, he's the showstopper!

    it lets the crowd know where they can get pumped and it also lets the other oppenent know whats coming where they want get injured

  • No because when an opponent's in the canvas stomping it would "wake" the wrestler to go up and while they don't know BAM! they go back to the ground.

    Tuning up the band :) Like the the foot pedal on a bass drum gets the tempo going just right

    I think it is because it gets the crowd going, obviously wrestling is a supporters sport and and supporters like him.

    So the crowd knows whats coming, & gets pumpeeddd uppp. it's the same reason batista shakes the ropes.

    the real reason is because yeah is deos warn his opponet but the main reason is to hype up the fan and get them exited ya know shawn loves to be a showman
