2 tablespoons butter, mixed with cheese

1 teaspoon parsley or coriander leaves, chopped

2 tomatoes, de-seeded,de-skinned and chopped into 8 pieces totally (4 pcs. each)

    1 tablespoon mustard paste

2Now prepare a mixture of cheese and butter in your mixer.

3Apply 2 tbsp of this mixture on the bread slice.

4Now lay in a beautiful manner, the tomatoes on the bread slice, spreading them all over.

    5Cover with 2 tbsp cheese-butter mixture again.

6Now sprinkle 1 tsp of chopped parsley or corriander leaves all over the slice.

7Roll it like a chappati (roti).

8Place this roll on an aluminium foil and roll it again.

9Seal the roll in the foil like how toffee wrappers are sealed.

    10Refrigerate for half an hour.

11Once cold, apply mustard paste all over the sandwich and roll it on a plate of chopped parsley or corriander.

12Cut the rolled sandwich into pieces of desired shapes and sizes and serve immediately!

    Ham and cheese pinwheels

    * 1 carton (8 ounces) whipped cream cheese

    * 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts

    * 1 tablespoon ranch salad dressing mix

    * 1 garlic clove, minced

    * 9 thin slices deli ham

In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, walnuts, salad dressing mix and garlic. Spread about 2 tablespoons over each ham slice; roll up tightly and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Unwrap; cut into 1-in. slices. Yield: about 4 dozen. You can also spread this on tortilla shells.

Using flat bread or Lavash will make your pinwheels easier to make.

For spreading use a flavored cream cheese, like garlic and herb, or the Allouette cheese spreads work wonderfully.

with a garlic and herb, use thinly sliced ham or prosciutto, marinated red peppers - cut to open them up to lay flat, fresh basil or arugula and roll up.

If you want a curry variation, add a dash of curry powder and some Major Grey's or other Mango chutney, chopped up finely to some softened cream cheese, use with thinly sliced chicken or turkey and romain lettuce.

for a roast beef variation, use a horseradish cheese, a bit of softened cream cheese, roast beef, thinly sliced tomatoes and a good thin sliced deli roast beef.

If you want to use a regular bread - use a soft one and flatten it with a rolling pin, to make the slices easier to roll.

    Bon appetite!
