What Would Happen If You Take Expired "Puffers" Inhalers?

Im bascially having troubles breathing right now, and i want to take my Inhalers but it expired in 2007 and now were in 2009. I just want to know what would happen.

    I don't recommend taking expired meds, however, people complaining about the new HFA's are finding their old expired CFC's and using them sparingly. No one has complained, but finding quick relief that the HFA's couldn't provide. Clinically, the medication begins to break down after the expiration date causing the inhaler to be ineffective. If you insist on using the expired inhaler, be sure to "prime" it at least 3 times. If you don't know what priming is, refer to this web page for instruction and good luck to you!
