Why do I keep getting yeast infections?

In the past 10 months I've had at least 7, 6 were every month after my period and my other one happened like 3 months after those. Why does this happen?

A number of factors lead to a recurring yeast infection including:

    Lowered immunity

    Use of antibiotics

    Birth Control Pills

    Poor Diet

    Pregnancy

    Diabetes

    Tampons/douching

    Wearing tight clothes

I suggest: Wear cotton underwear. Change your lifestyle - check this diet out on the enclosed link.

I would schedule a pap smear and have the doc do some tests. Reoccurring yeast infections is a symptom of HIV, so you may need to be tested for HIV and other STDs. Goodluck!

I would go back to your doctor and get checked out. You shouldn't be getting these infections so often.

Go to you OGBYN asap. It could be something else that only a perscription can treat.
