What are some essential rap albums that I could get?

I am a Metal/Rock listener but I am a little bit curious about rap.

Basically, I would like albums that have a good amount of outstanding songs (no filler), not too long, a smooth or at least good production and some music behind it... You know, because I still want to have songs that have a melody behind them... And songs that don't sound the same.

As a rock listener you might like the following albums...

    Mo Mega - Mr. Lif

    MM... Food - MF Doom

none are too long, the only one that really has fillers is MM... Food, but they're not too bad.
