How long will it take Americans to understand this is the behavior of a domestic occupation force?

    Probably a long time. Until I see checkpoints like that inside the US and not just in the proximity of the border I think it's an overreaciton to call it a police state or "domestic occupation force".

    I also think it's highly ironic some of the same people who want to blame illegal immigrants for all sins of the world and regurlarly whine about the invasion from Mexico in xenophobic rants treat every attempt by the government to stop it as an outrage.

    A real domestic occupation force would not put up with the kind of nonsense that driver is involved in and in any police state his provocations would not have lasted very long before he had been thrown in jail.

    This is crap, much of what these guys who posted the video say is not true. Check point ARE legal, have been reviewed and approved by the Supreme Court and search and as for Border Crossings, you are required to submit to a search if you wish to enter the country (refusal of submission is grounds for rejecting entry).

    Dude the agent has the right to ask if He is a US citizen, and the hard head only had to say yes. The agent has a right to ask for identification such as a drivers licenses and expect the driver to cooperate and let him see his license.

    The agent did not violate his rights he brought any detainment on himself by answering only "am I free to go".

    This is and example of some nut bag being extreme, why could he not just answer and say yes I am a US citizen or produce identification, that is well within the limits and scope of the law and the agents duties.

    This proved nothing, except some people are their own worst enemies.

    These internal checkpoints are illegal. Thank you for making me aware of this practice. I'm from the east coast. I had no idea. It is chilling.

    Wrong, unless the officer has suspicion, he may not detain you. This is not the USSR. You are not obliged to answer any questions.
