This is news .... really someone went to journalism school for this?

Dijongate is in full force, with Fox News and a conservative blogger leading the charge against the president for his choice of the apparently un-American mustard atop his cheeseburger during a recent impromptu lunch stop with Vice-President Joe Biden.

Update:

Is this evidence of

The success of the dumb down the public agenda ?

Is this what passes for journalism ?

Who printed this -- who allowed it to go to air to print to anything ?

What ?

Update 2:

filthyb

- It is a FOX news article Google it yourself and stop being so lazy

And yet the Canadian press reprints it ? How does that make them any better ?

And to the guy who argues that NBC is just as bad .......... uh think about what you are saying

There is no news in America or Canada that the entirety of mainstream press on the continent "left" and "right " is ridiculous crap from people whose intelligence rate below the average rubber tree

Saying the "other" political spectrum is no better or perhaps worse is NOT a defense it is a condemnation

Isn't it amazing how we have 24/7 news networks, yet we are so terribly under informed and emotionally manipulated by sensationalized and entertaining "news". Real journalism is rare, particularly in the broadcast media, but it does exist. Typically, the best journalists are found on non-commercial, viewer-supported media outlets because the aren't participating in a 'popularity contest' for the largest audience share and ad revenue. Good journalism exists, but it's rare.

-- Democracy Now! - Hosted by Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez. Covers aspects of war and politics daily and only mentions Paris if something significant happens in France.

Amy Goodman, the host of Democracy Now!, won the 2008 Right Livelihood Award. She is the first journalist to be awarded this honor.

-- Mosaic - Peabody award-winning news program compiled from independent and state-owned media outlets throughout the ME.

-- News Trust - Non-partisan news site with articles from mainstream and Independent news sources. The focus is on high-quality journalism.

-- Dahr Jamail - An Alaskan resident who thought mainstream media was lying, or at best not telling the entire story. He put his 'regular life' on hold to see for himself what was going on in Iraq and Afghanistan. He's run circles around 'credentialed' and embedded journalists with his "MidEast Dispatches" and his book, "Beyond the Green Zone".

i knew it! what kind of evil indoctrination did our President get over there. this is just the tip of the ice berg. it starts with a little imported stone ground mustard -- seems harmless enough. next week you're eating pate and wine instead of good american weenies and Bud. or snails for god's sake! the Frenchies are trying to ruin our way of life. you see what they've done to Canada. (prolly where they get all their socialist ideas). you can't buy anything in Canada doesn't have some secret message in that senseless language. next thing you know we'll all be eating cheese that smells like some Frenchie's feet.

i say god bless the good folks at Fux news for alerting us, and pointing out the communist censorship of the liberal media. wake up people, or we'll be watching Jerry Lewis reruns on TV!

will the Obamas install a bidet in the Whitehouse?

Fox News either polishes right wing, hat filled GOP propaganda or trivia like the mustard story. By trivializing reporting they turn ews into a Roman Circus, to keep the public mind off the real problems people are facing.

The mustard Obama wants is owned by Kraft Foods...the same folks who give us Velveeta cheese and boxed Mac & Cheese. How American is that?

But this is beside the point....The point is republicans have lost epically.

I shudder to think what the republicans would say if Obama ate at a chinese restaurant.

This made my day. I can't believe people ever watch fox news.

Anyway, here's a link with a clip of Hannity saying this on live TV.

I'm sorry, but TRUE patriots obviously favor ketchup on their burgers according to some conservatives =P

Ans MS-NBC does not dumb you down when you have a guy saying he gets chills up his leg and who knows where else.

See the guy that went on MS-NBC and said miss Cali used to be a guy and got a sex change cut off his thingy .

    You call that journalism.

I can see the analogy trying to be made, but as a conservative even I find that ridiculous.
