Do you enjoy watching a spider spin a web?

I love it; such intricate detail. They are like an artist at work!

definitely... and the most amazing thing is that they do it by pure instinct, and each web is unique.

    fun facts, that i've found:

    - spiders use silk glands to construct their webs, and they produce these with the help of organs called spinnerets.

    - by using different spinnerets, the spider can decide whether the thread will be thick or thin, dry or sticky, beaded or smooth. When the silk is first produced, it is a liquid, but it dries quickly in the air.

    - although spider webs are delicate-looking, they are extremely strong and can stand a great amount of stress.

    - A spider can build a beautiful, elaborate orb web in only an hour!

sometimes, if yu're high, and happen to watch the spider make its web, it could be a whole life-affecting experience :D

    aii tc pce..

Absolutely. nothing more relaxing than sitting on the porch

with a tall iced tea, watch the sun set, and watch a little barn

spider come from behind the porch light and spin her little web.

Sometimes I will even catch a persistent crane fly and toss it

    in her web.

    better than watching TV.

Yep, I love watching creatures at work. Ants grabbing food and staggering away with it, spiders spinning webs etc.

I have seen the art of spiders since I was a kid, I find them to be the perfectionist of nature!, to me webs are beautiful, especially after it rains, it makes the web looks as if diamonds are stuck to it.

spider lay thousands of eggs. after all eggs are laid, the spider will die, but when the eggs hatch. most baby spiders leave, but some stay at the place they hatched. that's why you keep getting the same spider every year. :)

yeah, thats ok.......but watching 15-20 hummingbirds darting back and forth, zipping around the porch pillars, stopping on the feeders for mere seconds before buzzing off again...is a lot more interesting to watch
