Seems to me that a senior would know how to translate a GPA, especially one that is over B. Your GPA is about a B+, little higher, it would be an A-

If you are looking for a scholarship, or enrollment in a "Ivy League" school, better to have 3.7-4.0 GPA.

Many thousands of students in every state can earn a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Earning over 3.0 is respectable, but not "distinguished".

There is more to consider than just GPA to figure out "good or bad".

It also depends on the "hardness" of classes you took.

    Any physics, calculus, foreign languages?

Did you hold an outside job, go out for sports? All this will be considered in application for college, or future career, not just GPA.

  • You're fairly better then most people (at least in my school). Try getting A-B's in all of your classes this year and you'll be fine.

You're doing well because you want anything over a 3.2. Try to aim for a 3.6 though.

  • for my point of view, its a pretty good GPA thats in the B (letter grade) zone

just dont freak out and always try your best ;)
