What is Percocet in Ireland called?
I have recently moved to Ireland from the US and took Percocet for severe pain. The local pharmacy in my area isn't sure what I am looking for. Does anyone know if it is available here and is it called something else? I do not have insurance so do I need a prescription to get it if available and if I do does anyone know and closely related brands? Thanks!

Percocet is one of these inexplicable combined analgesics whose main aim is provide a patent for the drug company. It is a mixture of oxycodone and paracetamol. Clearly as a potent and addictive opiate it is not available over the counter in the UK. You would need to consult a GP who may or may not consider giving you an equivalent, depending on the nature of your condition.Source(s): GP for more years than I care to remember
