Albert Einstein help please?

I need to know who he was what he did in historical context and his importance to the development of modern western civilization

    then do some research. he was an important western scientist. E= MC^2, the theory of relativity, the nuclear bomb, sound familiar. we don't think of him specifically as the guy who made the atom bomb but from an outside perspective i can see that as a reasonable way to understand him. we westerners see him more as the smartest guy ever. i think it was his theory of relativity that changed our understanding of physics from newtonian laws of motion to the physics we use today which is arguably just as much of an impact as the creation of nuclear weapons which he was also involved in.
