    Not to be mistaken for a critical System 32 file, the 32.exe file is actually a worm which has become notorious for its widespread infection via email. The file preys on our instinct not to touch important looking files, and it also comes with a generator function that will place a random set of characters before the 32.exe. This is to dissuade people from searching the file by name and finding a fix for the problem.

    You will only contract the virus if you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer when you open the email link. This is because the worm capitalizes on a security loophole whereby it’s possible to plant malicious content in an IFrame. The same technique isn’t such an issue if you’re using Mozilla Firefox or one of many independent browsers.

    I got this straight from the link under my sources

    If u want to remove it 100% read below

    The best ways to deal with a virus is either a System Recovery, or install windows again. No antivirus will completely remove a virus once it’s in your computer

    System Recovery- when you turn on your computer there will be a screen saying something like:

    F2=Boot Menu

    F10= System Recovery

    Press and hold the system recovery button (it may be different for your computer)

    and follow the simple steps. This will 100% remove the viruses but also any saved files, pictures, videos, documents etc. So back up the important ones or any you want to keep (use a USB key or an external hard drive)

    Re- installing Windows:

    This only works if u have a windows installation disk

    Turn on the computer, insert the disk, then shut off the computer

    Turn it on again there will be a screen saying "press any key to boot from CD/DVD" press any key you want to

    It will bring you to windows setup and its best to install a clean copy of windows not a repair

    follow the steps after

    don't forget to format the hard drive to remove every file and virus

    Viruses and other malware are becoming harder and harder to distinguish from normal computer files and folders. System32.EXE is a prime example of this. System32 normally is a crucial folder on the Windows Operating System, but the file of the same name is actually a dangerous virus. It can hide itself in the computer with its camouflaged name and record inputs as well as monitor applications. There are a few ways to combat this issue, though, and rid it from the computer.

    Instructions Using Unlocker http://www.filehippo.com/download_unlocker/downloa... to Remove

    Download the "Unlocker" program by following the link (see Resources). This small application will allow the user to unlock all files that are write-protected and then be able to freely remove them.

    Install the software by opening the downloaded file, then follow the prompts of the installation wizard.

    Locate the System32.EXE file. It will most likely be housed in the C:\Windows\System32 folder, although it has occasionally been located in C:\ProgramFiles.

    Right-click the file. From the pull-down menu click "Unlocker." This will open a new window, which displays all of the locks placed on the file, keeping it closed and unable to be deleted.

    Click "Unlock All," which will open all the locks, then "Quit." You should now be able to remove the fie by selecting it and clicking "Delete."
