I heard that Plushenko called Patrick Chan a wimp...?

Is that true???

    Pretty much. It was a hilarious interview on CTV - one men's figure skater saying another isn't man enough. And let's face it - "man enough" is a pretty low standard in men's figure skating.

    I think his exact words were something like "if there is no quad, it is not MEN's skating". So not just Patrick Chan, but any man who doesn't do a quad. I was laughing so hard after interview, it's funny when figure skaters go all tough guy.

    I'm bound by patriotism to cheer for Patrick Chan, but I have to say I agree with Plushenko. This is a men's athletic competition, there's needs to be an element where you demonstrate you have the strength and athleticism to match the other competitors. It is artistry AND athleticism, not just artistry (nor just athleticism).

    Yes he was intimidating Chan saying Chan had no quad jump so he was wimpy.
