Evan Lysacek vs Mao Asada?

What do you think of that - Evan Lysacek did practically the same program as Mao Asada, silver (not even gold) medalist in women's figure skating. Check it out - identical jumps in exactly the same sequence. She actually did the triple axels better than him, he got a deduction on one of them. I couldn't agree more with Plushenko - this is not men's skating.

Update:

About Plushenko's wobbly landings - please note, if you're going to bring this up consider that he did BETTER than Lysacek on jumps alone, at least that's what the judges thought, he lost due to other elements such as spins etc., so don't be saying "he was better but the jumps were not too secure"

Update 2:

Lol, blondie, you should not be allowed to use a computer :) Jesus...

Yeah, thats the problem with the new judging system, you can get more points for stringing easy elements together than you do for doing a hard element. Plushenko is able to do a quad and Lysacek not only can't but didnt even try.

In what possible world is Lysacek better? The twisted world of figure skating judging. If it's all about combos, could you just repeatedly do single twists and win with that?

Plushenko may have had a better routine, but he was wobbly on a lot of landings. Evan did a smoothly executed routine. Plushenko thought he should have one because he did the quadruple (which he landed wobbly) but figure skating is about the whole thing.

They were NOT the same programs. They were nearly totally different with different themes. You're just looking for people to agree with your opinion that Lysacek doesn't deserve gold.
