Questions for those who have used drugs??!!??! PLZ HELP!?

I'm writting a story and trying to get into a mind of a hardcore drug user.

So I have a few questions and I would really appreciate it if you answered them honestly. No judgement here.

1- What kind of Drugs have you used?

2-How did each one make you feel as you started to take it?

3-During your high how did you feel?

4-How long did it last?

5-How did everything around you seem?

6-How did it feel coming down from that high?

7-How did you feel once u were down? and/or How did it feel to have the need for more right away.

8-How did it feel when you were trying to get sober? (if applicable)

1- What kind of Drugs have you used?

all of them but heroin and opium, but meth was the one that damn near killed me.

2-How did each one make you feel as you started to take it?

    alcohol - drunk, lol.

pot - hated it, just sat there and waited for the cops to come.

coke- freaking loved it, felt like I could conquer the world.

    Mescaline - silly and fun.

Mushrooms - ditto, saw crazy crap but knew it wasn't real, it was fun.

LSD -scary and hated it but hell I was 13 and it cost a quarter, which I stole from my mother's "Sock change stash"

Rx pain meds - high as a kite and invincible, followed by crash.

Crystal meth - one time - hooked. started snorting, ended smoking 24/7, grace of God, I never banged it.

ICE ~ pure meth, the absolute bestest

...but, after 5 1/2 years, it just didn't cut it anymore and everything and everyone except my daughter, was/were gone. She should have been.

3-During your high how did you feel? uh, high.

    4-How long did it last?

these drugs all had different "high times" but once I got on meth, I never came down. WHen I was out I simply slept for days til I got more.

5-How did everything around you seem?

after awhile, it all just seemed normal. You know I'd look at a crank pipe on the table and not even think of it as any different than a fork or something, pretty sick.

6-How did it feel coming down from that high? coming off coke I always felt horribly guilty, that was brutal.

Like I said, the meth I'd just sleep. The others, no big deal really.

7-How did you feel once u were down? and/or How did it feel to have the need for more right away. It was just "normal" to have to have more..

8-How did it feel when you were trying to get sober? (if applicable) I just made a decision on the night of 02/22/2004. I had a loaded gun and I made a decision to either get busy living or get busy dying. I didn't want my daughter to find me dead, so I got on my knees and asked the God that at that time I didn't even believe in, to help me. Been clean since. Went to intensive outpatient when I'd been clean about 6 months already.

It's a lot easier staying clean that it was getting clean. I had tried off and on for those 5 1/2 years.

**sorry, you are supposed to be the one writing a book not me, lol**
