LOL well, most of them are Canadian and a large number are Australian.. I guess i was expecting more bands with foreign languages incorporated i guess :/ whatever

I couldn't come up with 100 myself but if you want more awesome Japanese bands besides Nightmare and Dir En Grey, I'll list some! :D I mean, both are good, but there's ALOT more to love! ^_^

For one, check out the Gazette. I think they are arguably the most popular and successful Visual Kei band around today (Nightmare & Dir En Grey are/ have been VK too). They have awesome hard metal tracks, then painful touching ballades. Sniffle T^T

Also some other great Japanese rock bands (i'm leaving out pop and stuff) are abingdon boys school, Matenrou Opera, Kiyoharu (vocalist to SADS and Kuroyume), Kagrra, and High and Mighty Color.. I'd hope you'll check these out! ^w^

  • You forgot Nena (Germany). and Sigur Ros (Iceland). Two of the best artists of all time. Tokio Hotel is German. I like your list though. A multifarious collection of gifted artists.
