How do people still think Duncan is the best PF in the game?

He is 34 now and he can barely run. 2 more seasons and he is done!

He is not top 3 anymore goofs.

Are these people dillusional??? Are they living in the past? Same goes for Kobe jockers.

Pau Gasol is the best PF in the league. No disrespect to Timmy but he is old and the tides have turned. Kobe is still the best 2 guard in the Milky Way Galaxy.

I believe Duncan hasn't been the leagues "best" PF. Duncan's fake. Just because the Spurs beat the Mavericks in the 1st round of the playoffs, doesn't mean Dirk DOESN'T put up a fight against Duncan. Nowitzki has the ability to rise up over any defender and hit it right in their face. He has an amazing form. He can draw contact and still sink a shot from 20 feet away. And when you look at his rebounding numbers, he is under rated. He can grab boards. Not better than Duncan but he still can. I made an ability chart.

    Points Per Game-Goes to Dirk

    3-Point Shooting-Goes to Dirk

    Assist-Goes to Dirk

    Steals-Goes to Dirk

    Free-Throws-Goes to Dirk

    Minutes Per Game-Dirk

Points in the Paint- Goes to Tim

    Blocks-Goes to Tim

    Rebounds-Goes to Tim

Overall Power Foward Rating out of 10- DUNCAN-8.5

    NOWIZKI-8.9

Duncan's strength is his decision-making and his fantastic understanding of the game.

His age has not affected that...he is still the most fundamentally sound player in the league and will go down in history as the best PF in the game.

Yes, he's slower, but he still does everything to ensure his TEAM wins...

Just because its in the past doesnt mean it doesnt matter anymore. You dont take away someones accomplishments because of their age. I think you might be the one who is a little delusional. No power forward has had a better career than Duncan and nobody is really on pace to surpass him either.

Because he's consistent. Sure, the numbers are down in the regular season but its because Pop wants him to rest for the playoffs, and besides, what did he average this season? 18 PPG and 10 RPG? Not bad, since he's got George Hill, TP and Manu handling the points, and McDyess and Blair to grab the rest of the boards.

Well maybe we look at numbers instead of how fast they run. Duncan never ran fast, he uses fundamentals always has. Your the type of person he looks at speed and flashiness, and that don't win championships goof.

Duncan is a center, not a PF.
