<<which countries are christian or catholic,i know vatican city is a catholic country but usa isn't a christian?>>

Catholics countries ARE Christian countries because Catholicism IS Christianity.

When it comes to America, it all depends on how you define the phrase "Christian country".

If by "Christian country" you mean the country has a Christian government, then the answer is, No America is not a Christian country because it's government is secular, not religious.

If by "Christian country" you mean the majority of it's people are Christians, then, Yes America is a Christian country.

i might be an atheist, but im not dumb not to know the difference between a christian and a catholic. there's a huge difference. christianity is a religion. and within that, there's sub-categories, such as anglicans, protestants, cathloics and jehovah among many..... hope im clear

That cannot go by whole countries . . you miss the whole point

it's all about individuals within any country

Like, there's around 70 million Christians in China now,

but you would hardly call China a Christian country.

it's not that hard to work out is it?

    Spain - Catholic

    UK - Protestant

    Italy - Catholic

The list goes on and on. Why don´t you Google official religions of nations / countries?
