Rob s4 is on the right track , it's not which is better  , it is which is better for YOUR swing . That being said , I have tried both shafts and the Graffaloy produces higher launch with more spin than the Exsar , most OEM shafts are below average quality , but the Exsar is not , it is typically stiffer and more stable ( lower torque ) than a ProLaunch in the same flex . The other factor here is that flexes and characteristics of graphite shafts vary greatly - it is rare to get 2 matched shafts out of 10 of common / OEM / or off brands , while more expensive brands are more consistent . Tour players have the advantage of trying dozens of shafts , then sorting through a dozen of the same model to find the one that has perfect specs .
