I'm not aware of any countries in Africa that speak Portuguese as the official language. Some may use it as official written language for all documentations for example Cape Verde does especially for the government and legal documents but that's it.
In Cape Verde they speak two different types of Crioulo depending on whether its the Northern or Southern Islands. Sotavento Creole and Barlavento Creole. It's very different to Portuguese but I think they still understand it. It's like a dialect of Portuguese that's far removed from what you hear spoken in Portugal. Creole is like the official language there without it being official. Nobody really speaks Portuguese very well in Cape Verde and the Creole is spoken language only its very rarely a written language.
Looks like it is the official language in the following African countries:
São Tomé and Príncipe
I'd imagine like Cape Verde they are dialects removed from what they speak in Portugal sometimes far removed.

Yes, I suppose that these countries speak a slighty different Portuguese than Portugal or Brazil.

Mozambique, Angola, Cape Verde, Sao tome and Principe and i think equatorial Guinea.
Of course they have different dialect and accent. Just like the English in America doesn't sound like th English in England. Plus, like most african countries, i am sure that the language has a bit of african words in it.
Brazil is part of South America.
