I want to convert centimeter to inch in excel and access in microsoft office 2007?

I want to convert centimeter to inch in Excel and Access in microsoft office 2007, but don't know how to. Me and two of my teachers tried how to do that, and even they don't know. Can anyone show me how. I am more comfortable using inch rather than centimeter.

In Excel you would put a formula in the next column:-

    =A1/2.54

In Access you would include it in a query:-

    [yourfield]/2.54

... where [yourfield] is a field in your table

Divide the centimetres by 2.54 to convert to inches.
