Does this Laptop have good graphics: Dell Inspiron 15.6" Intel I5 430M Laptop (I15-7871M)?

What about this one: Sony VAIO Intel Core i5 430M Laptop (VPCEB2AFDWI)?

The Dell comes with Intel HD Graphics (though through the Dell site it can be upgraded to ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470 for an additional $100) and the Sony Vaio laptops with Intel i5-430M also only come with the Intel HD Graphics. I can't find the 'VPCEB2AFDWI' laptop from Sony's web site. The VAIO EB series has the 'ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470' card as an option.

Are the graphics good? The Intel HD Graphics (or GMA5700MHD) will be serviceable if you don't plan on any graphic intensive gaming.

Here's a page on 'Intel HD Graphics'

You can see some benchmarks at the bottom of this page --

I noticed this limited offer recently that seems like a great deal given the specs --

    Lenovo IdeaPad Y560 - Intel Core i7-720QM 1.6GHz, 15.6in 1366x768 LCD, 4GB, 500GB, DL DVD+-RW, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 1GB, 802.11n wireless, Bluetooth, webcam, 6-cell battery, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

    Price - $894 shipped.

Here are some benchmarks for the Lenovo

    Intel i7-720QM -

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 -

Also see this page and compare the benchmarks at the bottom for the 'Radeon HD 5730' to the 'Intel HD Graphics' integrated graphics.

    Dell and Sony CPU

    Intel i5-430M -

    Dell and Sony **Optional** GPU

    Radeon HD 5470 -

Hopefully you can note your budget and if you're more interested in a basic laptop, gaming or one with long battery life.

i'm somewhat satisfied I went with the HP Envy 14 Beats version laptop. i'm no longer one in all those those that, while they like a sparkling laptop, only runs to Staples and gets a crappy $4 hundred laptop. yet i'm additionally no longer one in all those folk who has the money to flow to the apple keep to get a $2000 laptop. After appearing somewhat prognosis on the internet i got here upon that it somewhat is between the few laptops in marketplace that's corresponding to macbook in terms of looks.however the caveat is that its somewhat heavy(5.8 lbs) and the battery backup is around 2 hours with potential keep settings. however the laptop is stunning in terms of heating because of the fact that its very low , a lot greater suitable than the different laptops I somewhat have utilized in previous. basic for the configuration, looks ,overall performance and price I could say that it incredibly is "ENVY" of all the different laptops in marketplace.
