Is there any good horror movies left?

Ok so I watched the original When A Stranger Calls 1979 and the first 20 minutes were VERY good had me on the dge of my seat really thrilling! So far there has not been one good realistic movie that has done that the entire movie.. Any Suggestions?

NOTE

No Scifi no fantasy! real things that can happen!

(i hated and will never understand the hype over the descent and 28 days/weeks later. i basically don't like older horror movies as well.)

i cant remember the year of some of them on the list but majority are recent films that i did like. only one was from the 90's which is misery. i highlighted with *** the movies that belong to my favorite list which i've seen over and over

Hour Of The Wolf. The movie starts of like a slow drama and then slowly starts turning into a horror movie. It isn't the kind of horror film that makes you jump but it does become truly scary, something that a lot of horror film today can't do. There is one scene from it that has been engraved in my head ever since and still freaks me out.
