dining in downtown Toronto?

Heading into TO this Wednesday to see Wicked, and want to have a dinner in the downtown area. Looking to spend around $100 per person, plus booze. We are fans of all kinds of cuisine, and just want a good meal for our one night away from the kidlets!!

Thanks in advance, JB

i saw wicked last week! you're going to love it!

well theres quite a few nice places on King that are trendy.

    http://www.menupalace.com/menupalace/establishment...

thats a list of all teh restaurants on king. I would recommend il fornello, 306 Dhaba Indian Restaurant,

Theres also Baton Rouge, almost right infront of the canon theatre.

I personally love going to Red's Bistro & Bar... definitely make a reservation though. http://www.redsbistro.com/

    hope it helps!

I would definitely go to Canoe. It's been rated the best restaurant in Toronto and is located in the TD building looking over Toronto on the 54th floor. It's incredible and you can get the prix fixe menu for $100. They also have an option that includes wine. It's great that you're coming on a Wednesday because they are not open on weekends. Make sure to make a reservation.

Ruth Chris has the best Steaks in the city. www.ruthschris.com/ they are located at 145 Richmond Street West, which is attached to the Hilton.

another less expensive but still classy option which also has good steaks is the Keg Mansion (nicest keg i've ever been to) This place is also supposed to be haunted so it may add to your supernatural evening. It's on 515 Jarvis Street. Here's a picture of the outside: http://www.kegsteakhouse.com/en/locations/on/toron...

hi! Do your self a super favour and head to The Pickle Barrel. that is placed a million block east of Yonge highway, next to Ryerson. they have the ultimate nutrition! each little thing from salads, burgers, steak, steak fries, soup ...and the record is going on and on. they're *very* much less high priced and you will no longer spend $40 ingesting right here! appreciate! • Globe Bistro is great at promoting what's good and local (and is never bad).

Nota Bene is another great option if you're any kind of gourmand.

If you want high-end sushi you can't go wrong at Kaji.

Enjoy the show and night out!
