One hypothesis is that any one strawberry plant has multiple forms of the peroxidase molecule and that the three different forms can be found in all strawberry populations. Another is that any one plant has only one form of the peroxidase molecule and that the three different forms occur in three different populations.

How to test: sample plants from each population. Perform a chemical extraction and assay that will identify the form(s) of peroxidase present in each plant. Analyze the results.

Without knowledge beforehand about whether multiple forms of peroxidase are common or rare in individual plants each hypothesis is equally likely. Knowing that multiple forms of peroxidase are common in plants then that is the most likely hypothesis for strawberries.
