Do you think that either the variegated plants or normal plants are more fit?

In my biology lab we were to measure normal plants and variegated plants of Brassica rapa plants. It was found that the normal plants were larger, had more leaves and had more flowers. Are variegated plants or normal plants more fit? Explain. Also, do we expect the variegation trait to evolve by natural selection in this population of Brassica rapa plants? Explain.
