Canada does not have nuclear weapons.

We did have them shortly after WW2, but decommissioned them voluntarily. Current countries with nuclear weapons include US, Russia, France, UK, China, India, Pakistan, Israel and North Korea.

We are part of a group of 41 countries that has achieved the threshold of nuclear weapons capability. We could build them almost immediately if we wished to.

i really hope Steven Harper does not read this because if we don't have them he will surely find a way to justify getting some.
