Altho I am a male, I have learned a lot about perfumes, cologne's from different sales clerks in stores like Macy's, Nordstrom's and other high end retailers.
They all say that every persons body chemicals effect the way they smell after applying to the body.
The fragrances all come in different varieties like floral, woods, fresh scents and more.
So, to find one that would smell great on you, last a long time, I would recommend going to one of those stores like I said, and ask the sales clerk to help you learn and know which fragrance would suit your body best.
They might ask if you work out, sweat a lot, etc, but it is to help find the right one for you.
They will also spray samples on you of the one or 2 you'd like to try, and give a few samples to try before you buy.
(I love the smell of "White Diamonds" or "RED" on a woman.

The best place that i like is in the shoulders- one spray on each shoulder. that way when you hug a girl they'll be able to smell you;)
