Do today's Jesuits come from the Jishvites?
This is what I found in Strong's concordance...so I am wondering what someone else has to say about iit.
3441 Yishviy yish-vee' patronymically from 3440; a Jishvite (collectively) or descendants of Jishvi:--Jesuites.

No, they are a part of the Society of Jesus founded by Ignatius Loyola.
BTW: I do not understand. Is this a really really lame slur?

Not at all. They were founded in historical times-- 1537 -- and were a Catholic response to the Reformation.
