Switching to a new SIM card?

I want to switch my information to a new SIM card on Rogers. I am keeping the same phone/carrier/etc. I am just having some minor issues with the phone which I think is due to a old and slightly "roughed up sim card".

Do I have to go to Rogers and have them put my info onto a new card?

look in ur contacts options to see if u can save ur contacts to the phone memory. Once ur new simcard is activated and in ur phone u can save the contacts back to ur simcard if u want.
