Is it wrong to skip the genealogy sections when reading the Bible?

I feel so guilty.

It's not wrong, and lots of people do it. But some genealogies are important. The one at the beginning of Matthew mentions 4 women that point out jesus came from lots of imperfections, so genealogies can be important.
